When my friends at the PRF put out a call for videos for a virtual music fest, I wanted to contribute something and the idea of doing a visual duet with myself was too good to pass up. While the trick of using a split-screen to create doubles of an actor is nearly as old as cinema itself, I had never actually had the chance to try it.

For the last several years I have participated in a monthly covers contest amongst an international group of independent musicians collectively known as the PRF. As the new year begins, I’ve collected my best submissions from the past year.

My issues with my body probably began around the time that I started crossdressing. I prayed that I might somehow magically wake up one day with a female body. As I got older my gender dysphoria worsened. It felt like my body was continually rebelling against me.

The past year has been one of major changes for Hollywood and the film industry. This year’s Academy Awards featured a number of LGBT and transgender firsts!
